Responsible for the duties assigned to him in the Laundry by the laundry Supervisor (e.g. collection, washing, drying, pressing and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Applies and follows the contractual obligations, GCC’s policies and procedures.
- Follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements.
- Conduct daily briefing, safety awareness.
- Ensures high standard service is provided at all times, including on time collections and deliveries.
- Responsible for the proper use of Laundry Machines and other Laundry Equipment and reports to concerned authorities immediately in the event of mal-functioning of any of this equipment.
- Closely supervises the laundry work, paying detailed and proper use of detergents, pressing and drying, etc.
- Performs other duties related to Laundry Section and assigned by the Superiors.
- Ensures Safety and Hygiene conditions are maintained at all times in the Laundry area.
- Maintain records related to collection and deliveries of clothes.
- Ensures staffs working in the laundry area are aware of personal safety and hygiene procedures.
- Reports immediately to Management in case of any defaults in Laundry Equipment.
- To comply with QHSE policies and rules set by the company and to continually support the same to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience in similar position within 4 to 5 star environment or Remote Life Support Services
- Ability to understand and handle the mechanism of heavy industrial equipments.
- Well acquainted with usage of chemicals and detergents on various types of fiber.
- Must be fluent in English
